Brainwashing is a kind of entertainment (2006, electromechanic installation, 7 channel projection, stereo sound)

A seat is mounted on a platform which is surrounded by an endless circular projection-tunnel. The viewer, who is informed that this is a "brain-washing machine" can sit down in this seat and will start rotating at high speed while countless image sequences are projected on the in- and outside walls of the tunnel, turning in the opposite sense.
Right in front of the viewers eyes is an obvious big red button, that reads "I agree". Only when viewer pushes this button will the machine stop. The moment the machine halts, a loudspeaker announces that "Now you are a good person!" If the viewer refuses to push the button, this mind-boogling ride will continue to spin in circles until the brainwashing procedure is successful.
